Boat Tour & Closing Ceremonies

On Saturday, the festival arranged for a Bosporus cruise. All of the groups went in our busses down to a dock north of the Golden Horn. The boat was nice, and in my mind it was essentially a booze cruise without the booze. There was a small band, a guide, and dance music; it was a fun time out in the sun. Although I was glad that I didn’t have to dance that night.

It started up tour guiding with all of the mansions and palaces along the waterfront, then passing under the two bridges connecting Europe to Asia. From tour guiding the club music started and it turned into a big dance party. After lunch on the boat, the band started up, and a massive water fight broke out.

After the tour we were back on the bus to the hotel and had some free time (where I got a donair, ice cream, and a shave) before the closing ceremonies where we were in full costume. Unfortunately all the good pictures are on cameras that are now back in Canada…
